This chandelier by Casa Padrino takes up a motif from nature. Instead of a ring, finely branching golden boughs form the frame, and from them hang hundreds of small glass leaves, densely packed, recalling foliage or raindrops on a twig.

The leaves are not smooth but irregularly textured. Their surface reads like frosted, roughened glass and refracts the light diffusely instead of mirroring it sharply. The result is a soft, even glitter across the whole body, without the hard colour fringes of a cut prism chandelier.

At just 30 cm high the piece builds low and reads more as a spread crown than a hanging cone. It blocks no sightline and can therefore be used where ceilings are low.

It is suspended on thin steel cables that are barely visible: the chandelier appears to float freely in the room. Above a round dining table, in a bedroom, an entrance hall or over a seating group this shows to advantage.
